Come Join us for our first ever Food Distribution even from Hockessin! We will meet at the Hockessin VFW (7620 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707) at 9am to setup, with the event to go from 10am until Noon (Or until the boxes run out!), and then we will breakdown/cleanup. This will be a family friendly event, where we welcome J-groups and Journeyors of all ages to help be the hands and feet of Jesus in our Community. Ideally we will have some people on Signs/Flagging cars into the event, a prayer tent offering prayer for anyone that wants it, and we may even have another local charity that will be able to donate household goods/clothing for us to hand out. Come join us and help make our first Food Distribution a huge success!

Cleaning up park and plant new trees / shrubs. Please bring garden gloves and closed toe shoes. All other supplies will be provided.

In partnership with Blessing of Hope ,Food Bank of Delaware, and Convoy of Hope, The Journey will be distributing over 20K lbs of food in Newark. During this event Journeyers who serve will help with greeting, traffic control, holding signs, and loading of cars with food. This is a very family friendly event, and children may participate if supervised by their parent/caregiver.
