The Journey is excited to add to our food relief efforts through our Monthly MOBILE Food Distribution! During this event we will go directly into the community and give them an opportunity to "shop" for food and essential items. Before we get to the community, we need support loading up our supplies before hitting the road! We could also use your support at Produce Junction to assist loading the produce onto the box truck. Shuttle driver is needed to depart from Journey by 10:15 am with fellow journeyers into the city & attend event (gather & connect) & drive the shuttle back to the Journey- arriving back by 2 pm.

We would love for you to come out and encourage the community & offer hope through prayer at our Mobile Food Distribution! This Fall join us as we pour out support for family and children in the Hockessin area by participating in the annual Candy Corn Trail event. We will setup a booth in Hockessin at Supporting Kidds (1213 Old Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707) at 10:45 am and then clean up from 3-3:15pm. Local members of the community will be stopping by our booth as they traverse the Candy Corn Trail, giving us the opportunity to share goodies, and invite them to join us at an upcoming gathering. The theme for this year will be focused on our upcoming “At the Movies” events, so we will encourage Journeyers to wear costumes- especially costumes that reflect characters from children’s movies! We will hand out popcorn and other goodies and invite families to our At the Movies events that will occur the following Weekend! All ages are welcome to serve!

Kick off the day by sharing warmth in a very tangible way! Our Coffee Brew Team will meet @ The Journey to prepare coffee for our outreach event! Other needs include helping us gather and organize cups, creamers, sugar, and other coffee supplies- so all is ready for our serve event!
