We have an opportunity to serve the women at Epiphany House, Friendship House. Friendship House provides housing and support for individuals working to rebuild their lives after experiencing homelessness and other difficult circumstances such as addiction & recovery. We are looking for 3–4 individuals who would be willing to coordinate together, decide on a meal, and provide dinner for the residents. J Groups are also encouraged to serve together and sign up for a date as a group. How it works: • Coordinate with the others serving that date (or with your group) to plan the meal. • Prepare or purchase the food. • Drop off dinner at 5:00 PM. • Drop-off address will be provided closer to the date.
During Compassion Weekend, we will honor veterans staying at a shelter by providing requested donated essentials along with personalized Red, White & Blue gift bags and handwritten card that we will doing during the serve. Each bag is a small reminder that they are seen, valued, appreciated, and honored for their service.

Come join us for Hope on 9- Food Distribution! We’ll be gathering near the Best Night Inn in New Castle to pour into our community through food, fellowship, prayer, and practical resources. Together, we’ll serve a Meal for Today and distribute pantry staples, fresh produce, hygiene items, provide recovery resources, and activity kits for children. We’ll offer prayer and meet the community where they are. More than 200 people are staying at the Best Night Inn, including approximately 40 children under 17 — some of them very young. We want to create a welcoming space where people feel seen, valued, loved, and cared for. We need plenty of hands to help us engage, serve, encourage, and build community. Come be part of Hope on 9 and help us be the hands and feet of Jesus! We’d love to have you join us! ❤️
You will assist in serving women in a treatment program. Gaudenzia serves women, women with children and pregnant women. The facility holds the distinction of being Delaware's only treatment program for women with children, focused on long term recovery. You will help serve food, participate in arts and crafts and fellowship with the residents and children as well as clean up after the event. *****PLEASE NOTE: This serve is for women and adults only.
Please join us in handing out "Love" bags filled with hygiene items and wooden crosses with encouraging notes to help make a residents life a little brighter! We will engage in prayer requests and a little chit-chat to remind them that someone cares! What seems like a little thing makes a big difference in the lives of those who are struggling.
