LEADER Melissa Slocum DESCRIPTION

We have an opportunity to serve the men at Clark House, Friendship House. Friendship House provides housing and support for individuals working to rebuild their lives after experiencing homelessness and other difficult circumstances such as addiction & recovery. We are looking for 3–4 individuals who would be willing to coordinate together, decide on a meal, and provide dinner for the residents. J Groups are also encouraged to serve together and sign up for a date as a group. How it works: • Coordinate with the others serving that date (or with your group) to plan the meal. • Prepare or purchase the food. • Drop off dinner at 5:00 PM. • Drop-off address will be provided closer to the date.

Come serve alongside our friends at Habitat for Humanity as we give back and support our community during this resource fair. We will be serving lunch, handing out candy during the Trunk or Treat along with fun prizes including an opportunity to win an electric scooter. Also, we will assist with cleanup afterwards.

LEADER Cindy Robertson DESCRIPTION

This is a fun project focusing on learning about our Christiana NICU community - writing messages and prayers for all the staff in the NICU! Then we will stuff those envelopes to bless the staff with gifts and pray over the NICU community of premature and fragile newborns and their caretakers. Come be a blessing with the Serve Your City JGroup and kickstart the Fall semester!
