Everyone needs a "Little Jesus"! This is a family friendly packing event where we will put together small packages (that include a "little Jesus" figure") that will be handed out as part of various Compassion Weekend Events. This is a self paced, fun event and very kid-friendly!

Come and help us pack 600 Hopetotes for upcoming Code Red Food Distribution events. Each tote packed will contain nonperishable food items and supplies to compliment fresh food items we receive and distribute from one of our resource partners, Blessings of Hope in Lancaster County, PA. This event is family friendly but, children will need to be supervised by a parent or caregiver.

Thank you for supporting the Food Bank of Delaware. Please make sure that you register with the Food Bank if this your first time volunteering. https://fbd.volunteerhub.com The minimum age for volunteering is 7. Volunteers under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult registered volunteer for the same event. Each person volunteer will need to have their own account at the food bank. We will be serving lunch, playing bingo and other games while providing fellowship, hope and prayer to a group of senior citizens. Setting up, playing games, as well as help cleaning up will be appreciated. We are preparing to serve around 50 people. Come and join in the fun!

You will serve breakfast to participants in Aquila addiction treatment program, while listening to a devotional. Upon completion, volunteers will be asked to take the clients to and from The Journey, where each member will be equipped with a blessing from all areas of Code Red and will attend the service and be returned back to Aquilla.

We are looking for 15 animal lovers to help build community cat houses! It entails tracing inserts onto Styrofoam sheets cutting those inserts with box cutters, and assembling the houses. *** 13 years and older*** This is a TWO part serve. Afterwards we will do a little CAT CUDDLING! Long term stays at a shelter can cause anxiety, and social isolation which can affect physical and emotional health. We've been asked to help keep these kitties socialized with love and kindness. Note: Please wear closed-toe shoes, any Journey Serve shirt and pants you are comfortable getting fur on.

The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) is in need of toiletry kits assembled for their families who are staying at their facility while their child is in the hospital. The kit consists of 3 items and other information provided by the RMH. These kits are needed so that the families do not need to worry about incidentals in their time of need.
