Join us as we spread love to families in the city of Wilmington that have new students attending HB DuPont Middle School in the fall. The Journey is supporting HB DuPont's "Clearly Ready to Start" initiative by helping to provide backpacks and school supplies for students in need. This serve opportunity will involve distributing school supplies, backpacks, and spirit wear and other clothing to families in need while they attend new student orientation. 710 N. Join us and serve the families in Journey City who are preparing for "back to school". We will have information, supplies, support, giveaways and more! We will transform a portion of our church parking lot into a fun atmosphere where families can visit and get prepared for school. When you join the 2nd shift for the Back 2 School Bash you will assist with serving at the event & clean up. Serving will include parking lot help, greeters, staffing various tables and generally making the event an inviting place for families.
