Rehabs and new builds in Wilmington. NO experience needed, all levels of skill welcome! Hard hats, goggles, masks, gloves, and other safety-related gear will be supplied on site. No one under the age of 16 is allowed on site. We recommend that you dress appropriately for the weather and wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Must have closed toed/ hard heel shoes (hiking shoes, sneakers, boots, etc.), or you will not be allowed at the build site. The project will be in the Volunteer Room, the Food Bank’s central hub for sorting and packing food. Volunteers must wear closed toed shoes, be prepared to stand and lifting during the two hour shift. Volunteers under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult who is registered, minimum age 7 allowed in the Volunteer Room. Please register with the Food Bank if this is your first time volunteering.
